Come join us in July and have this beautiful quilt ready for the fall!This beautiful fall quilt uses simple instructions to make small, medium, and large pumpkins. Easy paper piecing is used to make the leaf and stem sections and the black stars. No exact cutting is required and no previous paper piecing skill is needed. (No pattern is required.)
Class meets once a week for 4 weeks from 10am-5pm.
4 Thursdays, July 8, 15, 22 & 29th 2021.
Supply List
An ‘All Hallows Eve’ layer cake and 3 ½ yards of background fabric can be purchased at the Best Little Retreat Center Online Store. Use your stash for a fat quarter of black and various pieces of green and brown for the leaves and stems.
Ten 10” sq. black for pumpkins
Ten 10” sq. gray for pumpkins
Ten 10” sq. orange for pumpkins
1 fat quarter brown (stems)
1 fat quarter green (leaves)
1 fat quarter solid black (stars)
3 ½ yards background, sashing, and border
4 yards backing
6 inch add a quarter ruler
iron and mat
cutting mat, rotary cutter, 12 in. ruler
ordinary sewing supplies (machine, scissors, pins, etc.)
