A trio of witches, the Sanderson sisters, burnt at the stake in the 1600s, return to torment Salem, Massachusetts and a young brother and sister on Halloween night.
Why we're showing it: Hocus Pocus has become a bit of an autumn tradition at the Artcraft Theatre. While it did poorly on initial release, Hocus Pocus has since become a beloved classic, bolstered by the delightfully wicked performances of the Sanderson Sisters - Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker.
