In support of Operation Sharing and their food insecurity initiatives Oxford County Paramedic Services would like to invite you to their first ever Hockey Helps the Hungry. Saturday May 3rd please join your Oxford Paramedics and Woodstock Police as they battle it out against the Woodstock Fire Department. A little local rivalary to be settled on the ice as a way to aid our community.
This is an all ages event to be held at the Reeves Community Complex in Woodstock and tickets can be purchased for $10 at the door, children aged 10 and under are free.
All proceeds will go to Operation Sharing to support iniatives that provide assistance to those in our community struggling with hunger. In Oxford County, approximately 1 in 5 households are food insecure and across Ontario 19% of foodbank users are children.
Food insecurity is not always a visible problem within the community but that doesnt mean its not prevalent. Please join us this May for a fun night out and to support your neighbour in their battle against hunger.

- Doors open, tickets on sale and activities in the lobby beginning at 6pm
- Tickets to be sold for CASH only! ATM on site
