Join us for one of Canandaigua’s most inspiring community events of the year as our hometown Canandaigua Knights 11U team takes on the Power City Bruins from Niagara Falls in the 2nd Annual Hockey Fights Cancer Charity Game. This year’s theme is “One Team. One Fight.” and we’re uniting players, families, first responders, and fans to stand together in support of those battling cancer right here in our community. Every dollar raised will support local cancer research, education, advocacy, and patient care through the Finger Lakes Relay for Life.
🔥 This is not your typical youth hockey game. The marquee matchup at 3:30pm will feature a laser light pregame show, full player introductions, national anthems, a color guard, and appearances by dozens of first responder agencies and special guests. The Knights will wear custom purple Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys, and exclusive purple HFC merchandise will be available all month long.
Nearly 2,000 spectators attended last year’s event, helping us raise over $43,000 in total contributions through sponsorships, donations, and merchandise sales. Let’s go even bigger this year!

Game day will be packed with excitement, starting early in the morning with three warm-up games: CKH 9U vs West Seneca at 8:45am, CKH 12U vs Olean at 10:00am, and CKH 14U vs Batavia at 11:30am. A public skate session will follow at 2:00pm before the big game at 3:30pm.

Sponsorships start at just $250 and include recognition on banners, social media, and the game day program, with top-tier sponsors featured on apparel and receiving special thank-you gifts.
