Join us for a free lunchtime concert at Hochstein at High Falls, featuring Flying Object.Location: Outer parking lot at 4 Commercial Street, corner of Browns Race. Please note that this is an alternate location for this summer, due to ongoing construction on the Pont de Rennes.
The concerts are hosted by Ryan Yarmel of The Route/WRUR 88.5. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating and lunch. Each performance will run approximately 40 minutes.
Flying Object is a lyric-driven, song-based, and groove-oriented psychedelic indie rock band. The band consists of founder, singer/songwriter, and bass player Matt O’Brian (Thunderbody); Matt’s brother, Chris O’Brian (Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad), on drums; and Mike Martinez on guitar. Concerts take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, check Hochstein’s website (https://hochstein.org/Calendar/Hochstein-at-High-Falls) or Hochstein’s Facebook page at 10:30 am the day of the concert to see if the concert is moving to the rain location at MCC’s Downtown Campus at 321 State Street. There will be signage to direct you to the indoor rain location.
