This is a 7-day intensive face to face training course for doulas in Hobart. Our training comprises of 7 consecutive days of face-to-face education. We limit numbers to 8 students so that you get individualised attention, and we can spend more time discussing, sharing and brainstorming.
The Hobart training will be:
Friday, 24th May to Thursday, 30th May 2024 from 9am till 5pm all days.

In this 7-day training we will cover the following:
Day 1 – Doula History, Mindset and Self-Care to prevent burn-out.
Day 2 – Business Savvy Doula.
Day 3 – Comprehensive Childbirth Education.
Day 4 – Understanding the Medical Maternity Model / Advocacy.
Day 5 – Your Doula Toolkit for comfort measures and Mind / Body Connection.
Day 6 – Optimising Pelvic Pathways for a better birth.
Day 7 – Holistic Birth.
Your investment for the face-to-face training includes all printed workbooks, laminated cheat sheets, business resources, online training course, morning tea, afternoon tea, ongoing mentoring, and extra bonus gifts.
We require a minimum of 6 participants for this training to go ahead.

After the face-to-face training you will also receive access to the 17-module online training course.
This will enable you to go over everything that we cover in the face-to-face sessions and provide you with lots of extra resources, marketing ideas, studies and videos that you can refer back to at any time along with the modules that we just can’t fit into the 7-day training. The online course will be regularly updated and revised to ensure up to date information is shared.

Included in your training we also do a live Zoom Q&A meeting or guest speaker three times a month, so it will give you an opportunity to ask anything or seek out guidance and support but will also include additional training sessions with guest speakers from time to time.
