We participated in this event last year and a year before & the year before... We have a tradition going On-On! It's always a Very Very Merry time! Let's end 2024 with another Awesome Bike Parade! Saturday December 16th, 2024 All for a Great Cause = "The Kids"

For 2024, Lets meet a few days prior to Christmas. A Saturday Sunset / night with hopefully no work the next day ππ We are sure to have extra fun & maybe get a little naughty for the after Party, @ Nick's! ππππ
It's simple, put some air in those bike tires, stop by Party Supermarket or Target & get some battery powered Christmas Lights to decorate your bike with, along with a fun Santa or Elf hat or costume, pack a cooler for the tailgate party, Please bring an UNWRAPPED Toy or 2 for the less fortunate children. Used or New. That's right, NEW or USED toys will be collected before we take off @ the start location = THE TOP OF THE GARAGE! This is "The Key & Purpose" It will get delivered to South Broward Learning Center / L.E.S. Foundation & Broward Outreach Center where Santa & Rich will jump on his 8 tiny reindeers(or pickup truck) the day following the bike ride to the preschool & the homeless shelter. We all will be contributing some Holiday Cheer to these children/students & less fortunate that can use the assistance. Doesn't that sound Totally Awesome! Ho Ho Ho ~ All while we get to tailgate, followed by a leisurely paced bike ride from Charnow Park, all the way through Hollyweird Beach & than back to the start, but not until a FuN stop or 2 + some singing & Dancing including Margarettaville / The Bandshell. Don't forget to wish all our fans & visitors a Hardy "HO HO HO Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year" or a simple "HapPy Holidays" while pedaling, that's half the fun ;o)
Gathering & Decorating of Bikes: Charnow Park/Parking lot, that's between Connecticut St. & Garfield St. on A1A. Park on the top floor / roof & meet by the water fountain / The Big
Pavilion on the bottom floor @ 5:30.
4:00 - 5:15 social on roof & finish decorating the bikes & drop off the toys in the Chevy Avalanche Pick up truck on the roof top with Rich~Thank You soso much π
5:20 Line up for parade @ pavilion downstairs by boardwalk and fountain.
5:30 Sing along" Santa Claus is coming to Town"
5:35 SHARP followed by:
12,11,10,9 8,7 6 5,4,3,2,1
On Dancer on Prancer on Cupid on Vixen....(you know the rest) & we're off... On On

Bring $ or debit/credit card for parking(working on free parking on the top floor from 5 to 9. We'll keep you posted π)
Tailgate time: While decorating, bring beverages and snacks (BYOB & BYO) Stowe your drink of choice to enjoy along the way. Please No Glass or visible beer cans.
Line up: 5:30 Last minute chance to make sure all decorations are secure (SAFE) away from wheels, spokes & gears & that your dress up doesn't restrict vision. Extra batteries & lights are always a good thing to have as back up.

6 go north to north end of broadwalk
630 go south to South end of broadwalk
7-730 Take a pic @ our friends place on the broadwalk with all the Christmas blow up decorations & lights.(Will Frosty be out again?)
β 730-10 @ Nick's Restaurant & Bar where there are expecting us+offering cold drinks, food and a place to park our bikes and head back to the garage when ever you like
β Tenative ~ 830 to 9 @ the band shell for last 30 minutes of dancing & live concert then head back to Charnow Park and/or many will hang/park in front of Nicks then we have a small Tailgate after ROOFTOP PARTY... On-On
****************** VERY IMPORTANT especially for children ******************
For everyone's safety all riders should have an operational front white headlamp and a red tail lamp on their bicycle in order to participate in this ride. If you don't have these, please go get them, or Santa will be putting you on his naught list.
