Kia Ora Koutou Katoa,We will be doing a service of the DOC200 network on Saturday Dec 7th.
Come join us for a hikoi and some trapping. This will be a great chance for any new trappers who haven't been inducted yet to get trained up so you can trap on your own -- if you can't make it this weekend no worries, join us next month to get inducted (or reach out to organize a time).
We will meet at the 4 Rivers Depot (the first driveway on your left once you cross the bridge on McGrath Road) at 10am and hatch a plan from there.
Training Modules we will cover:
-Site induction
-Entering Data in the field on Trap.nz
-Servicing of Doc200/ Doc250 Trapping
Please bring:
-A pack
-Study walking shoes
-Lunch and snacks
-Plenty of water
-A smartphone with trap.nz (if you have one)
-Any personal trapping gear you want (basic trapping gear provided)
If there's a good group of us we could have some optional post-trapping beers / fish'n'chips
