About this Event
An experiential workshop inspired by the Wheel of Consent®
Do you know *how* to get in touch with what you want? Do you know how to ignore the scripts that tell you what you’re supposed to want and instead of tuning into what you *really* want?
When it comes to scene negotiations, many of us get stuck *thinking* about what we want instead of *feeling into* what we want. Sometimes a rift in communication or a skill-deficit can get in the way, but too often the culprit is a lack of attention to what would feel good, or a difficulty turning what you notice into a tangible ask. It’s time we fix that.
Join Sarah and Willow for an interactive workshop with foundational practices to help you create experiences that are wanted, pleasurable, and driven by your present self.
In this 3.5-hour workshop, you’ll gain practical skills in:
- Noticing what would actually feel good for you (instead of what you *think* would or should feel good for you).
- Asking for what you want so that you’re more likely to get it.
- Sharing boundaries and limits to keep your experience feeling yummy.
- Being responsive to your partner's moment-to-moment experience.
- Minimizing common pitfalls in integrating these lessons into your play and life.
