Whether you’ve been to heaps of play parties or you have no idea how to find one, all levels are welcome in this deep dive into play parties and how to make them work for you. This class goes well beyond basic definitions and instructions by using exercises and breakouts to help you understand how your play party values match up with your expectations.
PLUS we will discuss a plethora of scenarios that may and have happened and parties + how to handle them.
Expect to unpack many common questions like:
What if you don’t know anyone?
What do you wear?
What do you do with your hands?
Is there a difference between a kink party, a sex party, and a play party?
How do I navigate STI’s at parties?
Is it okay if I watch and don’t partake?
What if no one wants to play with me?
How do I create boundaries and expectations with my date?
How do I handle anxiety during parties?
What should I bring?
A pen and paper to take notes.
What should I wear?
Whatever makes you comfortable. No nudity.
Any skill pre-requisites? (i.e., is this for beginners, advanced, everyone?)
This class is for everyone. All levels of experience welcome.
Can I attend solo, or do I need to come with a partner?
Solo, partnered, polycules and more are welcome to attend. You do not need to come with a partner.
Instructor Bio
Gabrielle Smith (she/her) is a writer and non-monogamy educator based out of Brooklyn. Since 2020, she has coached over 100 clients on alternative relationship structures, negotiations, and, of course, jealousy. She has been featured in Red Table Talk, and her writing has appeared in Men’s Health, Cosmopolitan, Teen Vogue, Business Insider and various other publications. Lola Jean is a Sex Educator, Fetish Wrestler, headmistress of 7 Days of Domination, and World Record Holder for Volume Squirting (solo.) providing the No Frills Sex Education we both need and deserve in a variety of mediums. Lola brings a refreshing understanding to sex, sexuality, and kink to push individuals past what they think they are capable of.
