2026 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Aberdeen Gilbert & Sullivan Society. To celebrate this milestone, we're excited to announce we'll be staging one of Gilbert & Sullivan's most well known works. HMS Pinafore!The fourth collaboration between the well known duo and their first international hit, HMS Pinafore tells the story of a forbidden love, and the troubles that must be overcome for that love. It also pokes fun at patriotism, party politics, the Royal Navy, and the rise of unqualified people to positions of authority.
We’ll be holding an open rehearsal on the 21st September at the Aberdeen Academy of Dance on Charlotte Street. Come along to learn more about us and get a chance to sing some of the music from the show.
We rehearse Sunday evenings at the Aberdeen Academy of Dance. New members are always welcome, so if you’re a veteran of the stage or just have a passion for singing, we’d love to hear from you!
