About Utopians Unlimited
The Utopians are a dedicated fundraising group of friends who have been performing the beloved works of Gilbert and Sullivan in churches across Croydon and Surrey for over 40 years. Our productions are fully costumed, staged, and accompanied by our talented pianist, raising much-needed funds for local churches and providing entertainment.
Our shows feature a passionate core of principal performers and chorus members, with additional backing singers ("the choir") often drawn from the congregations of the churches hosting our productions. These partnerships with local churches are vital to what we do, and we are deeply grateful for their continued support. Together, we aim to bring joy to the community and support church fundraising efforts through the timeless charm of Gilbert and Sullivan’s operettas.
