Join us for a special Victorian Valentine holiday traditions guided tour! On February 16th we will be having 2 exclusive Docent led tours of the Victorian Kellogg House beginning at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm sharp for a small group discussing the Victorian Valentine's traditions, the Kellogg Family and the Kellogg House History! For Black History Month, the glass case display inside the Kellogg House rear parlor will include pieces of the Harriet Tyler collection.
The Quilter’s Cottage will also be open for Harriet Tyler coloring pages and other hands-on activities from the 2023 “Summer of Civil Rights” exhibition.
Also on February 16th our Gospel Swamp "Art at the Farm" at 11am-12:15pm and the Gardening Lesson at 12:30pm-2pm is included in your Museum ticket price!
**Entrance to the Museum for non-members: Your $10 (or $5 for children 12 and under) HMOC Open House admission allows you full entrance to the Museum grounds, self led Kellogg House tours during the hours that Docent led tours are not occurring (12-1pm and 2-3pm) as well as exterior Museum activities during the entirety of the Museum Open House hours of 11am to 3pm!
An additional $5 ticket add-on can be purchased to allow you to join one of the 2 exclusive themed and timed Docent Led Guided Tours at either 11am or 1pm depending on availability!**
Your admission supports our nonprofit museum and allows you to tour our property including the historic 1898 Queen Anne Victorian Kellogg House with self led or specially ticketed docent guided tours; HMOC exhibits; arts and crafts workshops; scavenger hunts; self led Nature Area trail hikes; Gospel Swamp Farm tours with the Children's Sensory Garden; special guests and speakers and more. On select dates participate in our Parlor Stories as well as Gospel Swamp "Art at the Farm" and Blacksmith Shop workshops!
