Join our educators in our prairie to learn about native plant species, catch pollinators, and learn about pollinator identification and their lifecycle! This engaging monthly program is designed for middle and high school students aged 12–17 who are passionate about wildlife and conservation. Each session focuses on a unique rehabilitation or wildlife-related topic, providing teens with hands-on opportunities to volunteer around the grounds and support the facility's mission.
Participants will also gain insight into what it takes to become a wildlife intern, offering valuable experience for those interested in pursuing a future in animal care or environmental science.
Program Details:
When: 3rd Wednesday of each month
Time: 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Cost: $15 per session
