The Revolution was fought and won beyond the battlefield; discover the stories of women, people of color, and spies that all helped make America! From enlisted men (or women), to spies, to everyday citizens, uncover what it meant to live true to your ideals. Campers will immerse themselves in hands-on 18th century life, uncovering the stories of the people who helped build our nation and how they can continue to be a part of America’s unfolding story. Each week campers will dress in colonial clothing, participate in games and activities, create projects and eat a colonial-inspired snack.
Uncover the secrets of the past in this fun filled day! Become an archaeologist and learn the secrets that are hidden under our feet. Visit a local cemetery and discover the stories of those who lived before us.
Tickets for children ages 7-11 $65 (Child Members $55) at https://www.independencemuseum.org/mini-camps/
