This history tour of Mason Mill Park will touch on Native American history, early white settlers, slavery, the Civil War, and the Decatur Waterworks. This easy walk will last around 2.5 hours and will mostly stay on paved paths and boardwalks, with a short stretch on soft-surface trails. Wear comfortable footwear and clothes appropriate for the weather. Bring a snack, water bottle, and hiking sticks, if you need them. All are welcome.
