About this Event
Join us on Saturday December 7th at 9:00 AM for a walking tour of Peddler's Village and the village of Lahaska. Peddler's Village was founded by Earl Hart Jamison in 1962 on six acres of property at the crossroads of Routes 202, 263 and Street Road in Lahaska, once known as Hentown. The property had housed a chicken hatchery, a barn and chicken coops. Earl transformed them into 14 shops and the Cock 'n Bull Restaurant. The buildings, nestled amid winding brick pathways and award-winning gardens designed by Earl, reflected the architectural style of colonial America, a style he maintained consistently. Today, you can find perfect gifts in 65 specialty shops and boutiques, enjoy fine dining or casual fare in your choice of restaurants, and walk around and enjoy the company of the people you love.
As part of the tour folks will receive a 50th anniversary book of Peddler's Village. We will be meeting at the Peddler's Village, Village and Event Center, 100 Peddlers Village, Lahaska, PA 18931.
Free to Members. $10 for Non-members. For additional events and information go to Solebury Township Historical Society
