Local historian Mike Gilbert shares fascinating stories of local and national history during this popular series, which takes place on six Saturdays in September and October. Pre-recorded virtual sessions also will be offered for those who cannot attend in-person. This week, Gilbert discusses The Tragic End: The Assassination of Robert F. Kennedy. June 5, 1968, marked a tragic and pivotal moment in American history. This presentation will explore the events leading up to the assassination, the immediate aftermath and the lasting impact on American society.
