Based on the recent Martin’s Plantation presentation at the Frostburg Museum, this history huddle takes the next step into a deeper understanding of the Virginia-based Ohio Company’s role in the settlement of Western Maryland. Was this “colonial development company” the direct prime mover behind all of George Washington’s early presence here and was their business plan the actual cause of the French and Indian War? There are no wrong answers on this one, so let’s huddle at the hose house!
