We're pleased that after the success of Julie's history workshops at WEN, she has planned more. This new series takes the theme of the history of medicine.At the first workshop, learn about Ancient Wisdom:
- Evidence of Stone Age healers and medical practices.
- The role of women as healers.
- The Ancients including Imhotep and other early Egyptian doctors.
- Mummification.
- Greek philosophers and doctors including Hippocrates, Persian and early Islamic doctors.
There will be a 20-minute break during the session, with refreshments provided.
