History Lunch Cruise to Tarpon Lodge

Our first event of the season takes you on the water as we cruise round-trip from Captiva to Pine Island in the company of our speakers, local historians Betty Anholt and Brian Holaway, who will share the historical effects of hurricanes on Pine Island Sound and its environs. Hungry for more? You’re in luck! Included is lunch at Tarpon Lodge’s 4-star restaurant where the owner, Rob Wells, will tell the story of their 1926 lodge building and how it has been affected by hurricanes over the years.
