About this Event
Learn a bit more London history at the pub after work!
The return of History in the Pub! This is our first evening of live talks since the end of lockdown. We ease into it on the fun topic of London's streetscape. The stuff we walk past every single day yet take for granted. Or don't even notice. They all represent a London that is past, passing or changing. We no longer burn coal; we rarely if ever use static telephony; today the fire brigade will help us even if we lack an insurance badge on our house.
Four short talks and a speed quiz. Our host for the evening is author, writer and London obsessive Matt Brown from Londonist.
