Explore the history of Harmony Hill Nature Area with Director of Property and Recreation, Rich Phifer, on a guided hike through Harmony Hill Nature Area that focuses on the history of the park and the many interesting ruins and monuments, both man-made and natural, that commemorate a colorful history of former uses and private ownership of this now-beloved public property. This 1.5 mile hike will stay within the 240-acre Harmony Hill Nature Area, taking participants on many of the property’s trails, some of which feature challenging slopes and surfaces. This hike is sure to please anyone that enjoys the outdoors, history, and Harmony Hill Nature Area during the colorful and refreshing spring season and is best suited to ages 16 and up. This is a free event but preregistration is required as space is limited to 10 people, by emailing Tenley Adams at [email protected], with the names of those attending.
