Join us for the first ever St. Johns County History Harvest, a community-driven event where we invite you to bring your treasured photos, documents, and heirlooms to help preserve and share the rich history of our county. These items will be scanned/documented so that they can be part of a collective effort to create a digital archive that will tell the story of St. Johns County for future generations. Please note that you will retain ownership of the materials; we will simply be making copies or taking photos to document. We are also capturing oral histories from local residents—your memories, stories, and experiences. Share your personal recollections of what life in our community was like and help us build a complete narrative of our shared past. Don’t miss this opportunity to be a part of preserving our county’s history—through documents, photos, objects, and stories—so that the past can continue to inspire the future. We encourage you to sign up for an oral history time slot utilizing the link below, but walk-ups are welcome. We are specifically looking for stories and items pertaining to the county’s agricultural roots and/or the Fruit Cove area.
