In honor of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Dr. Sam Wilford, Executive Director of the Museum of Florida History, discusses objects on display in the temporary exhibit "The Fourteenth Colony: Florida Celebrates America250FL." The new exhibit by the Florida Department of State tells the story of Florida within the context of the American Semiquincentennial and features objects from the collections of the Museum of Florida History and the Bureau of Archaeological Research. The talk will be held in the exhibit space on the 22nd floor of The Capitol. The program is free and open to the public.
