Late in 1885, pioneer Sioux City physician, Dr. William R. Smith, subdivided his 80-acre farm into a new residential neighborhood called Smith’s Villa. Presenter Tom Munson will explore the history of the Smith Family, the neighborhood, its residents, and its unique architecture.This free, photographic presentation is offered at the Sioux City Public Museum, and attendees are invited to bring their own lunches to enjoy during the presentation.
