Join us for an engaging discussion of two new books about histories of Indigenous education in Hawaiʻi and California. Authors Derek Taira and Katie Keliiaa will discuss their work in conversation with other invited experts on the histories of Indigenous boarding schools, including: Farina King (University of Oklahoma), Sarah Whitt (University of California, Irvine), Natalee Kēhaulani Bauer (Mills College) and Maile Arvin (University of Utah).
