The Historical Dothan Downtown Walking Tour is not just another walk in the dark. It is a historical haunted tour with a Paranormal Twist!
Bundle up and join us for some fellowship, historical tales, beautiful old buildings, and a little surprise!
Reservations are Required.
Our tours sell out quickly. ADVANCED securing your tour is highly recommended. Space is very limited for this very popular excursion, so DON’T DELAY!
What is the Paranormal Twist?
Not only will your tour guide have well-researched information on the places discussed along the tour route, but you will, also, get the chance to stop at certain points along the route to get some hands-on paranormal investigating.
That’s right! We will provide you with some paranormal equipment; however, you are welcome to bring your own.
No EVPs or anything that records the stories of the guide as the stories are copyrighted. Be prepared to answer questions about the equipment you bring.
Book your Tickets
Book your tickets today to ensure you have a spot on our tour, as spaces are limited. The Dothan Downtown Tour will begin at 5 P.M. CST on Saturday. Plan on spending a couple of hours with your tour guide.
Dress according to weather conditions. If it is raining or there are severe conditions, we will contact you and offer you a rescheduled time or a refund if you cannot reschedule.
Once the tickets have been purchased, you will be given a confirmed address where you can meet the guide assigned to you. You will be given the guide's name and contact info at that time.
This is why it is required that you leave a name, a valid phone number, and an email address so we can contact you with important information about the event.
The only stipulation is that we ask you to arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour time. This allows us to get everyone checked in promptly to ensure the tour begins as scheduled.
Our guides will have IDs and will be visibly recognizable. We are looking forward to touring the historical side of town with you. Our mission is to make it as safe and fun as we can.
Frequently Asked Questions(FAQs)
1. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Our tours are PG-13, so this means no one under 13 years old. We feel that younger children just would not be interested in the topics. We will be walking on sidewalks where there will be vehicles and other pedestrians passing us. We do ask to see some form of ID. All military and seniors must show ID as well.
2. What can I bring to the event?
We encourage you to take lots of pictures along your tour, but please remember that videoing is prohibited due to the copyright of the stories. You can bring your non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. Just remember to put the trash in the trash cans placed sparingly along the way.
3. How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
If you have any questions or concerns contact us at 334-648-1214 or email us online at [email protected].
4. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
We would like you to have a printed version of the ticket, but if you do not have access to a printer, we will accept a digital copy. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early so we have time to process the ticket at the gate.
Refund policy
For a full refund, the cancelation must occur at least a full 24 hours in advance of the start date and time of the event. If Adela Haunted Tours cancels due to not enough participants or inclement weather conditions, a full refund is awarded.
No refunds will be given if the tour has begun or if you fail to show up for the event. Communication is important!
Let's all have a safe and fun time on this tour!
