Lazarro Nettles was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. He grew up playing the saxophone in his dad’s church. At a very young age, he began developing his own unique style of playing that contains hints of gospel tones, jazz overlays, and bluesy riffs with an edgy funk. His dynamic live performances and utter command of the saxophone have been electrifying audiences for many years with a raucous tone and dynamic stage presence. He plays regularly with musical greats from the local, state, and national level.
Darrell “Dee” Davis, Sr. was raised in the Erwinville area and began his musical journey at the age of seven. Darrell's musical talents blossomed when he earned first chair in all-state saxophone. His path soon expanded to include the lead guitar. The transition from saxophone to guitar opened doors to a wider range of genres, from R&B to gospel, jazz, and blues. Throughout his 47-year career, he has performed with some of the world’s most celebrated musicians and has written and produced songs for numerous artists, and is founder and owner of Melndee Productions.
