Please join the West Baton Rouge Museum on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 6 - 8 PM for Historical Happy Hour. This month’s Happy Hour will feature Ken Milo as Tucker Johnson, the Time Traveling Mixologist regaling the audience with the rich history of spirits while standing at the bar inside the museum’s Juke Joint with live Blues and Jazz performed by Lazarro Nettles and Dee Davis playing in the background.
Ken Milo is a world class master mixologist and a showman who delights in presenting revolutionary cocktail experiences through creative productions. Ken has built a career in the Greater Baton Rouge area bartending, teaching mixology classes, and designing productions at the Baton Rouge Country Club, the City Club of Baton Rouge, Baton Rouge Blues Festival, and more.
Lazarro Nettles was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. He grew up playing the saxophone in his dad’s church. At a very young age, he began developing his own unique style of playing that contains hints of gospel tones, jazz overlays, and bluesy riffs with an edgy funk. His dynamic live performances and utter command of the saxophone have been electrifying audiences for many years with a raucous tone and dynamic stage presence. He plays regularly with musical greats from the local, state, and national level.
Darrell “Dee” Davis, Sr. was raised in the Erwinville area and began his musical journey at the age of seven. Darrell's musical talents blossomed when he earned first chair in all-state saxophone. His path soon expanded to include the lead guitar. The transition from saxophone to guitar opened doors to a wider range of genres, from R&B to gospel, jazz, and blues. Throughout his 47-year career, he has performed with some of the world’s most celebrated musicians and has written and produced songs for numerous artists, and is founder and owner of Melndee Productions.
At Historical Happy Hour, the drinks are on you and the history is on us! This FREE event is open to the public. All are invited to bring refreshments to enjoy the evening’s entertainment that will take place inside the museum’s Juke Joint located on the rear side of campus near Sixth Street.
