About this Event

Come immerse yourself in the history and culture of downtown Santa Ana, the governmental seat of Orange County.


We'll visit various landmark buildings, eateries, bars, and shops. There are so many open restaurants and bars. The food is most excellent!


Some points of interest:

The gorgeous West End Theater. Built on July 15, 1915, it showed movies throughout its life. it has gone through nearly half a dozen name changes over the past 100 years.


The Old Orange County Courthouse, a 105-year-old landmark that is Southern California’s oldest court building. Today, the building is host to the Orange County History Center as well as government offices.


The Dr. Willella Howe-Waffle House and Medical Museum was built in 1889. The home was originally owned by Dr. Willella Howe-Waffle, one of the first female doctors in the county. It is one of the very few Queen Anne Victorian homes in Orange County.


Yost Theater, currently, a concert venue with a grand reopening in 2011, after two decades of sitting semi dormant.


We will be sauntering through all these exciting locations and will indulge ourselves in to the local Santa Ana culture. Come join us on an afternoon of adventure, culture, cuisine and connection.
