About this Event
The Shute-Meierjurgen Farm and the 3.35 acres of land it sits on are among the last remaining cultural resources and historic sites in the City of Hillsboro and Washington County. The time has come for the current owners to sell the property. We are hosting an Open House for anyone interested in seeing the home and barn, walking the property, and sharing ideas of what comes next. We want your help and support in finding the next owners and use of the property. There are many options for commercial and retail uses that can support the property's historic integrity and still allow new uses and tasteful development! We need friends and supporters to show up, show out, and get on board to help us in this important effort! Our hope is that you will have some interest, good ideas, and resources, and can become a Friend of the Shute-Meierjurgen Farm and help us!
There are no tickets needed- show up! Tell your friends - refreshments will be served, and we look forward to a community-building event!
