The Historic Haunts Ghost Tours are back! Historic Haunts of Downtown Bethlehem will take you on a journey into the past and the paranormal. An experienced tour guide will escort you through the darkened streets of Bethlehem’s Downtown Historic District as you hear the tales of ghostly soldiers patrolling Moravian College. Learn the legend of Liesel and Lafayette. Find out who or what haunts the oldest bookstore in the country.
Where are the tours?
Tours begin and end at the Moravian Book Shop with ten stops in the Downtown Historic District of Bethlehem, PA.
When should I arrive?
Tours leave on time. Walk-ins are welcome during Tour hours but reservations are recommended. You should arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your tour to park, collect your ticket, and browse merch.
How long are the tours?
Approximately 1 hour
What should I wear?
Comfortable shoes since the tour covers about one mile of walking (with stops). Tours run during rain or moonlight unless the weather is dangerous. Dress appropriately for the unpredictable October weather and bring an umbrella.
Where can I park?
Meter parking is available on Main Street and North Street parking garage.
Will we see ghosts?
We cannot guarantee that you will see spirits, however we will visit locations where paranormal activity has been reported.
Can I take photos?
Video and audio recording is prohibited but we encourage still photography to see what you can capture! You can share your photos and tag us on Facebook or Instagram!
Is the Tour appropriate for children?
The Tour is not stroller friendly and we do not allow children under 5. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Please note the content is quite educational, historical, and spooky.
How do I reserve a slot?
Call 610-866-5481 to reserve your date and time. If you called, your slot is guaranteed. Walk-ins are allowed but we do get full.
