On Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, come join us at the Gorgas House Museum for some free and family-friendly fall festivities! We will have turnip carving and decorating, as was the tradition before pumpkins became popular in America, along with apple-related activities and snacks! Families are also welcome to tour the Museum, which will be fully decorated for Halloween, featuring our new exhibit Mourning Matters: Grieving and Etiquette in the Antebellum South and Further up October 15th. Costumes welcome!Admission:
