Guests are invited to join the Charleston Museum for a brand-new cocktail series to explore a range of spirits and wine. For the second installment in the series, join Museum Curators and Brittany Olson, certified Sommelier and Owner of Love & Bunches, for a special workshop on Madeira wine.Madeira, often referred to as the “immortal wine,” was very popular in Charleston during the 18th and 19th centuries. This fortified wine was well-suited for our port city, both in location and high temperatures. As you learn more about Madeira’s influence in Charleston history, Sommelier Brittany Olson will take you on a guided, specially curated tasting journey while you sample a variety of Madeira wines. Enhance your experience with an exclusive look at items from the Museum’s History and Archaeology collections that are not exhibited for the public.
Tickets are all-inclusive and include 3 wine tastings, a full glass of wine, light bites, a Curator talk with access to special Museum collection items, and education from a Sommelier.
Love & Bunches is a vintage horse trailer turned elegant mobile wine bar. The mobile wine bar is female, sommelier owned and operated. They currently service the Lowcountry for all of life’s special events.
