Historic Book Fair Historical Society For Southeast New MexicoSaturday, November 1st, 2025 - 10am - 5pm
In conjunction with Museum Day on November 1, from
10AM to 5PM, the Archives Building will host a historic
book fair. As usual, rare out of print titles will be for sale.
(Don’t worry, they are all carefully chosen duplicates!)
New books will also debut since Donna Blake Birchell and John
LeMay both have brand new books as part of The History
Press’s “Haunted America” imprint. Donna authored
“Haunted Courthouses and Jails of New Mexico” (which
includes a chapter on our Chaves County Courthouse)
and John compiled “Haunted Lincoln County, New
Mexico,” featuring the ghost of Billy the Kid and his many
victims among others. A few other scary history titles, like
“La Llorona: Her Kith & Kin,” will also be on hand while
supplies last!
