About this Event
Step out of time into the fantasy architecture and lush gardens of Greater Orlando’s only National Historic Landmark, the Maitland Art Center. Now home to the Art & History Museums of Maitland, the Maitland Art Center was founded in the 1930s by visionary artist J. André Smith as an artists’ retreat. On this guided walking tour, you’ll pass thousands of sculptures, carvings, and murals while hearing fascinating stories about the history they represent. This tour is appropriate for all ages but most engaging for ages 12 and up. Your ticket also gets you access to visit the Maitland Art Center gallery, Maitland History Museum and Telephone Museum after your tour.
