It has been two years since local hip hop / alt. musician Lil Jul has brought a concert in Ballarat Trades Hall.With the same amount of talent accompanying in this 2024 show, hip hop lovers can expect a wide variety of sound palettes as well as a theatrical display of dedication towards genre blended with various influences.
The line up will feature Lil Jul, Raro, Jed Bobbin, Lachnes and The Quagaars.

Artist Profiles:
Lil Jul – Being a solely independent hip hop artist, over the years this local rapper has has branded himself with hard-core bars layered over self-produced bass lines and hi hats, mixed with sensual and ethereal vocal freestyles to tell tales of sorrow and domination. Lil Jul will not only bring the traditional heat that hip hop has to offer, but also diverging tales through his influences of Asian pop.
Raro – From Ballarat to Melbourne. Raro has over the years provided us with a lot of chill vibes and thought provoking lyricism throughout his pensmanship.Whenever you hear Raro play a set, you’re bound to be entranced in to a stimulating and other worldly experience.
Jed Bobbin - An artist not only known for his divining ability to write relatable songs in a dark space, but vocals that help reach new heights both emotionally and spiritually. Jed Bobbin’s music makes you question life, existence and the meaning behind it all. A must-not-miss talent!

The Quagaars – A veteran in the indie music scene, The Quagaars have spread out the voices of rock and roll since the 2000s with various albums and collections. Hailing from the Planet Quagaar. Although various members are spread across the galactica, it’s lead Prime8 is here to represent for the team as songs of rebellion, philosophy and heartache will be shared flawlessly in the strum of strings. Allow this ape-themed band to introduce you to the wilder side.
