Smt. Ruchira Panda studied Hindustani vocal music under Pt. Manas Chakraborty and is regarded as a torchbearer of the Kotali Gharana. She is a skilled exponent of Khayal, Thumri, Tappa, Tap-Khayal and other semi classical forms. She will be accompanied on Harmonium by Shri. Anirban Chakrabarty, who was initially trained by his father Shri Amal Chakrabarty, and is now under the tutelage of Pt. Manas Chakraborty. Shri. Chiranjit Mukherjee, a disciple of Pandit Kumar Bose, will represent the Benaras style, and accompany on the Tabla.
