About this Event
Join us for our 2nd Annual Hilltop Early Learning Conference!
This year's conference will focus on the pivotal role that Anti-Bias Education plays in children's development and well-being.
Conference Overview
Our guides for the day are Debbie LeeKeenan and John Nimmo, leaders in the early learning field and co-directors/co-founders of Anti-Bias Leaders ECE. John and Debbie will begin the day with a brief keynote followed by a screening of their Emmy-nominated film, Reflecting on Anti-Bias Education in Action: The Early Years.
Following the screening of the film, participants can choose to attend a 2-hour morning workshop led by local ECE professionals.
In the afternoon, we'll gather again with Debbie & John to view their second ABE film, Families Embracing Anti-Bias Values. Following this screening, participants will return to their small workshop groups from the morning for a 1-hour reflective dialogue.
To end our day, John & Debbie willl lead us in a closing keynote with some guided action-planning that participants can take back to their programs and daily work with children & families.
