NEW & RETURNING STUDENTS WELCOME
Studies have shown that learning a 2nd language aids students in other academic areas as well as enhancing creativity & problem-solving skills.
Our immersion-style Spanish Club includes interactive language lessons incorporating games, music, activities, singing and crafts. We’ll learn introductory phrases and vocabulary as well as learn vocabulary related to our theme
Sessions last between 8-12 weeks and run throughout the school year September – June.
Club meets weekly. For grades Kindergarten - 2.
SPRING THEME:
Let's GO on a Field Trip! What is your dream field trip? How will you get there? Students will learn about different places they might go on a field trip: museum, amusement park, theater. We'll pretend to go on a field trip and have some fun! Learn introductory vocabulary and phrases about the Spring as well as colors and numbers 1-20+. Students will hear about Spring Latin holidays and we’ll make a variety of crafts related to Spring.
SCHEDULE:
Students get dismissed from Homeroom class
We meet and take attendance
Snack and talk about their day
Lesson
Game/ activity
Craft
Meet in lobby for dismissal & parent/guardian pickup.
COVID protocols: We will follow CDC guidelines.
