WHAT IS LIBRARYCON: LIBRARYCON is a free, annual event in the style of a traditional Comic Con, with more of a community focus that includes local organizations, authors, comic book retailers, vendors, food trucks, entertainment, costume contest and cosplay guests. The libraries will have booths based on their genres (think Anime, Horror, Star Wars, Harry Potter) with hands-on activities and free resources for both children and adults. LIBRARYCON has proven to be a successful effort to get people excited about libraries, our programs, materials, and resources. It is the only 'Con in Beaver County.
