About this Event
Join for a specialized and immersive congressional advocacy training, led by the IMEU Policy Project, hosted by Pillars Mosque, to build support for the Block the Bombs Act and foster grassroots momentum. This historic bill, backed by the Congressional Progressive Caucus, is the first of its kind that will suspend U.S. weapons to Israel used to K*ll Palestinians and commit human rights violations. The training will go beyond the Block the Bombs Act and cover key ways communities can engage with elected officials to garner support for more just policies and positions as we work towards a free Palestine. We will also dive into media and messaging techniques to support grassroots efforts to engage with local officials and media outlets. Lunch will be provided.
