Join us for Hiking With Your Pup 101 - prAna x POSO Dog Rescue clinic! Come learn the basics of hiking with your dog. This event will cover important topics such as gear essentials, trail etiquette, and safety tips for you and your canine companion. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or new to the trails, this clinic is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors with their four-legged friend. More about Cassidy: Hi there, I’m Cassidy! My passion for dog training started when I adopted my first dog, Frankie. Frankie helped me discover the beauty of obedience and relationship focused dog training. After Frankie was about a year old, I began fostering shelter dogs for rescues. I ran an Instagram page “Frankie and Fosters” to promote and network shelter dogs. A common theme I found when fostering and visiting shelters is that dogs were returned due to lack of training, lack of breed fulfillment, and overall were not given the proper structure and guidance to thrive in homes. When I began my foster journey I started shadowing balanced dog trainers to better educate and equip myself to bring out the best of these dogs. I fostered highly leash reactive dogs. Like many owners, I found myself frustrated and overwhelmed, I knew there had to be a better way. Balanced training came into my life and then “Frankie and Fosters” turned to “Frankie and Friends Dog Training”. While I still am involved in the dog rescue community, I want to be able to help all dog parents out there enhance their relationship with their dog. My approach is empowering owners through understanding dog psychology, education of dog behavior, and training as a lifestyle. Dog training is just as much training for the humans involved as it is for the dogs. It is teamwork. My goal is to better transform the relationship and communication between you and your dog. I want to create a game plan that reflects both your needs. I can not wait to discuss your dog training goals!
