Celebrate the spring season by challenging yourself with this fantastic Surrey Hills Three Peaks Challenge, walking Boxhill, Leith Hill and Holmbury Hill in one day.
Our popular challenge takes you on a 17mile (27km) linear route starting at Boxhill with our first climb of 224m elevation to overlook the beautiful Mole Valley. Following the North Downs Way we pass the Denbies vineyards with new buds of leafy vines, and head into Ranmore Common with further view points along the North Downs Ridge. Simone, a North Downs Ambassador will share some interesting stories and landmarks along the way. At 11km we take a stop at Westcott Village before we follow the infamous Greensand Way southwards through denser woodlands and rolling fields to Wotton Common and finally our 2nd peak, Leith Hill at 294m height at about 18km. Now, Holmbury Hill is a 6km walk away till we reach the famous Iron fort on top of our 3rd peak, with 261m elevation.
Finally we descend through Hurtwood and its ancient woodland towards Holmbury St. Mary’s village, pub and our end point.
Option to book a table in the Pub (tbc) for our group to celebrate our achievement.(Optional and Pub food/drinks not included in the price).
Another email will be sent regarding food/drinks.
