With our state facing a projected budget shortfall of more than $10 billion, access to the outdoors could be at risk. Our representatives are more likely to protect funding for public lands if they hear from people like you who care about them.
WTA has a proven track record of securing and maintaining funding for our state’s public lands and for equitable access to nature. But these wins are only possible with the participation of hikers like you.
That’s why, at Hiker Rally Day, you’ll have up to three 15-minute meetings with representatives in your district to share why trails need our support more than ever.
No experience is needed! We’ll provide a training so you can feel confident speaking up for the outdoors.
