Nestled in the southern Aberdares forest, Kieni forest offers a collection of hidden trails winding through dense indigenous foliage, leading to three breathtaking waterfalls.The walk through the tea plantation is both exhilarating and tranquil, providing an opportunity to immerse yourself in the area's rich history with the guidance of our knowledgeable hosts.
Rated as a moderate trail, spanning 18 kilometers and taking approximately 5-6 hours to complete, this experience promises a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

Trip Itinerary
Time Activity
5.30am Depart Nairobi for Kieni expected to arrive by 8.00 am to start the hike at 8.15am
12.30pm Enjoy your packed lunch or snacks at the falls as you view the scenic surroundings
4.30 pm Leave Kieni for Nairobi expecting to arrive at 6.30pm
What to wear and items to carry;
Comfortable running shoes or hiking boot
Hiking/gym pants (avoid jeans)
Polyester T-shirt (like the football jerseys) carry an extra one to change after the hike
Sunglasses
Hat/cap- very important
Camera
Binoculars
Drinking water (3litres)
Sunscreen (Arimis oK) and Insect repellant
Heavy snack or picnic Lunch
Energy Bars
Poncho or a light Rain Jacket

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled trip departure, 50% of the fee will be charged.
If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled trip departure, no refund fees will be provided.
No shows are responsible for 100% of trip fees.
