Join forthcoming author, Sarah Robison, as she leads a creative writing event at Frick Park! After resigning from her career in medicine, relinquishing her home, and leaving her loved ones and creature comforts behind, Sarah said YES to the unconventional. In her debut memoir, Sarah details her physical and emotional journey while thru-hiking The Appalachian Trail. Now, she's curating the highlights of her experience for this special write + hike event. Participants can expect to hike a short, moderate-level loop with Sarah, stopping throughout to hear excerpts from her trek and engage in creative writing exercises that will inspire you to look at your relationship with nature, uncertainty, and yourself in a deeper way. Limited to 15 participants.
