Celebrate Trails Day is the perfect opportunity to get outside, connect with nature, and enjoy your favorite trail. Join us for Hike with a Naturalist! We will be hiking Powell Trail. This is a 2-mile trail in the Little River Canyon National Preserve.
This hike is a strenuous 2-mile journey with varying and steep terrain into the canyon. Cell phones may have little to no reception. Please wear footwear suitable for hiking, dress in layers, bring water, hiking poles, sun protection and a snack!
Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025
Where: Meet at the Little River Canyon Center, and we will caravan to the trailhead.
Time: 10:30 am - 1:30 pm (CST).

WEATHER: As with all outdoor events, if it's raining/stormy or very poor trail conditions, we may have to cancel. If the weather is questionable, please check with the Canyon Center at 256-845-3548.
