The Hike to Vårlivarden is a free event, open to IKIS members and not. Reservation needed in https://www.ikis.no/upcomingDetails of the hike:
Altitude difference: 320 m
Total length: 5.2 km
Estimated time roundtrip: 3.0 hours
Easy hike that climbs one of the peaks between Hommersåk and Høle. Nice view over the Høgsfjorden and up to Stavanger.
Packed lunch by the participants. Winter mountain shoes are necessary and layered clothing.
Recommended for all ages from 10years old.
Date and departure:
Sunday, September 22nd at 09:30 AM at the IKEA parking in Forus. Meeting also at the parking of the hike at Myrland (coordinates: 58.923318, 5.921715) at 10:00. The trip will be carried out with their own means by the participants. There is some chance of having a ride.

The excursion will take place in all weather conditions, except heavy rain or snow. Any cancellation will be communicated by Saturday September 21st.
