HIKE MUSKEGON Sat. 12/13/25 - 11AM!**Location: Beachwood Park-Muskegon
**About the hike: Funky snow! Hiking poles and snow-cleats recommended! A few short, steepish and some snow covered, dune trail climbing. We'll climb up to the top of dunes overlooking Lake Michigan and the Pere Marquette boardwalk and wind up and down thru the inner trails of Beachwood Park. Many bail-out options.
**Parking: Free parking at Beachwood Park, the far lot near the bathrooms.
**Directions: Take Sherman west to near the end. Hard R turn at Beach St. At Beach St. follow to Beachwood Park (about 1/2 mile).
**Stuff worth knowing: Stuff worth knowing: We hike in all weather except pouring down rain. Leashed dogs, cats, gerbils, etc. are welcomed if no park rules against. Most hikes 2-4 miles, 1-2 hours. Usually easy to opt out early and always OK to speed up, split off or go at your own pace. I have extra hiking poles to loan anyone who needs, ask me!
